Discover the natural beauty of the Socotra Archipelago (Yemen) during this temporary exhibition as part of the Connect2Socotra campaign. UNESCO and the Charity Friends of Socotra launched the Connect 2 Socotra Campaign in September 2019 to raise awareness on the rich and distinct natural and cultural heritage of Socotra. Ghent University Botanical Garden joins the campaign with this temporary exhibition.

Admire beautiful pictures and items of the unique island flora and learn more about the natural and human factors that threaten its existence. Visitors can learn about plants in the garden related to Socotran species, discovering panels by using a map.
